This is a photo by Patricia Confer taken 4-30-12 around 6:15 pm on HWY 60 going east to Amarillo at Hereford City limits.

2" hail that has been melting for at least :30 min at Ashtola. Lots of broken out windows in cars on the highway and shredded trees.

This is hail falling in South Bushland. I will send a total of three pics. This hail is with heavy rain that only lasts a couple minutes. Hail is dime to nickel size hail.

These were taken off the Claude Highway about 5:30 pm today.
The smaller hail stones were at the beginning of the storm, the larger ones were golfball sized and were towards the end of the storm. Our poor house took a beating!!
