Last Monday (6.1.09) I was flying back to Amarillo from Austin (via Dallas) and snapped a couple of pictures of the panhandle storm from the sky. We were having to fly around bits of the storm, but as we started to descend I got a glimpse of some of the most spectacular cloud formations I've ever seen. Also witnessing a lightning storm from above it has to be one of the coolest things I've ever experienced!
Hope you like the pics. Unfortunately my camera batteries ran out before I could take some even more incredible pics.
