Dear Channel 10, (the only channel my parents watch in Clayton, NM)
On February 20, 2009, after 50 years of marriage, my parents lost their home to a fire...they lost everything! In March, demolition removed the remains of both their home and their beautiful yard. All that was saved was the garage and the bush my father is standing by. Even after such a horrific misfortune, my parents amazing - positive attitudes have made this event bearable.
I just love this photo of my Daddy and the only bush left after the fire.
