Armstrong County Severe Storm 5/21

These are pictures from a severe thunderstorm in Armstrong County. The first picture was taken 2 miles east of Claude on U.S. 287 looking at the updraft and base of the severe thunderstorm. The second picture is of a hail stone we found that fell from this storm. The hail stone was just a bit over 3 inches in diameter even after having been on the ground for 20 minutes and was found 8 miles southwest of Groom Texas on Ranch Road 294 in Armstrong County.
