Bushland
Dave,
Here are a few photos from Bushland. I have a new camera and I am trying to learn how to use it! It was a pretty day to give it a try. Our weatherman James Spann in Birmingham sent out a request for photos from the affected areas for his blog: http://www.alabamawx.com/, so I forwarded them on to him as well. I think Ryan and Aubrey could get more impressive photos in Norman!
Y’all stay warm!

By the way, the photos were taken at the Albracht’s place, in case Jason recognizes the cows or driveway…

This was taken on August 11th, 2008 in the morning. I noticed a brightgreen object in my picture. When I zoomed in it looked like a flyingsaucer. I know this sounds silly but I could not explain it. I am alsogoing to submit another picture that was taken the same time and day andthe bright green object will be on the ground. This picture was takenfrom my driveway west of Amarillo. This is the second picture that I was talking to you about. Please letme and the channel 10 viewers what this could be.Thank you!!!

Tufted Titmouse
Friday last week (the 2nd), my wife and I were down in Palo Duro Canyon. It was a beautiful day! We are both avid amateur photographers, and had a lot of subjects that day. Here is one of them. It's a tufted titmouse, and is a little smaller than a sparrow.
This is the female Golden-Fronted Woodpecker. They are not supposed to be in this area. Their normal range is through a portion of the eastern part of Texas and a narrow portion of Oklahoma.
Here is the male Golden-Fronted Woodpecker:
Feel free to use them on air if you like. Enjoy!
