Weather Satellite Photos

Here are some photos I took this evening from S Tyler St. Feel free to use them on the air.

The balloon (not a UFO) was on an easterly and souteasterly course. It was launched from Fort Sumner, NM.

Here, the balloon just crossed I-27, located a few miles East of Plainview, heading ESE:

Just after sunset, the balloon is approaching Guthrie, heading SE. You can see the payload at the bottom of the cable/tether. I heard the payload is about the size of a refrigerator, and the balloon itself about 10 stories tall.

Enjoy!

Tornado retracting?

We were coming out of Wal-Mart on Tascosa Rd at about 3:00pm (Sept. 8, 2008) and caught this before it finished going back into the clouds

tornado sighting?

We saw what looked like a tornado west of the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy this afternoon around 3:15. I've attached a photo. Is it a tornado or just a cloud formation?
