Flagstaff snow

Dear Dave,

I thought that since I went to Nevada and back in 1 week, I would share the few pictures of the snow in Flagstaff, AZ that I was able to snap really quick. I know some of us will appreciate the little snow that we do get.

Snow Stars

It was snowing stars in the Woodlands today at 3:30 pm. Most of the flakes falling looked like tiny stars. It was beautiful and fun!

Fall picture

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago between Cuchara and Trinidad, near Monument Lake. This was the first snow storm in that area (you can see the snow clouds just above the mountain). Beautiful colors in the trees too! Really a pretty drive, and only 5 hours from Amarillo!

Rain Shot

Hey Dave, this is a vacant lot just south of my house and just north of Sam Bass Stadium "Home of the Elks" . The Football field looks just like this around the edges. WOW, what a rain!!! Praise the lord!

Playing in the rain

Dear Doppler Dave-

Just thought you would like to see some little ones enjoying the rain! My oldest has been so excited because he says - " I prayed for lots of rain and here it is! God is awesome!" The boys are Coby (5) and Jaden (2). Hope this brightens your day a little!

Have a great and blessed day!

Weather Satellite Photos

Here are some photos I took this evening from S Tyler St. Feel free to use them on the air.

The balloon (not a UFO) was on an easterly and souteasterly course. It was launched from Fort Sumner, NM.

Here, the balloon just crossed I-27, located a few miles East of Plainview, heading ESE:

Just after sunset, the balloon is approaching Guthrie, heading SE. You can see the payload at the bottom of the cable/tether. I heard the payload is about the size of a refrigerator, and the balloon itself about 10 stories tall.

Enjoy!
