Hey guys, here are some photos of the isolated storm that had a hook on it for about 2 hours or so. I intercepted it NE of Dodge City.
The photo of the distant storm was taken SE of Dodge City.
The wall cloud and tennis/baseball hail was taken NE of Dodge City near Kinsley.
I got into some very high inflow wind near Lewis. I estimated gusts of 70 mph and possibly higher. I saw 2 power poles snapped just east of Lewis. The wall cloud was actually rotating fairly rapidly, but it never produced. I do have to say that was the highest inflow to a storm that I have ever witnessed. Anyway, just thought you guys might enjoy the photos.
