Doppler Dave Oliver,

From Alan Farrington here in Amarillo, I met you at the Storm Spotter, Weather Awareness day on a Saturday back in April I believe. I am an acquaintance of Allan Gwynn' and I am the pilot that signed up for your storm spotter email list. However I have not heard from you re. a follow up, anyway these were taken approximately at 2050 hrs tonight after the blessing that we received today. These of course are Mammatus clouds which are resultant from very moisture laden/saturated clouds usually underneath the Anvil of the thunderstorm during the dissipating stage of the thunderstorm. I estimate them (the bases) to be at approximately 7000' MSL.

Regards,

Alan Farrington
